Don't Forget to Live

Thursday, January 22, 2009 Edit This

First, I was dying to finish my high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
Then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was dying for my children to grow old enough so I could go back to work.
But then I was dying to retire.

And now I’m dying. Suddenly I realized that I forgot to live.

Don’t let this happen to you. Appreciate your present situation.
Enjoy each day.

Congrats Mr. Obama!

Yesterday was a great day for America, the 44th time a peaceful transfer of power!

I think his speech was great. The ideals he mentioned of personal responsibility, his positives on free markets, invention, and those who make products or provide services, and his warning to terrorists that he will be vigilant & willing to fight them were all good and I hope he sticks to his words.

Congratulations & wishing you al the best, Mr. President! God bless you!

Focus Dailies

Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Edit This
I just received 5 pairs of Ciba Vision Focus Dailies contact lenses from a dealer. Can't wait to try them out. Just the thought of fresh, new pair of lenses everyday makes me excited! No more cleaning, no more protein build up, no more storing them in their cases, wowww....
I have been using Bausch & Lomb for 8 years. I have tried their 1 year lenses, 3 months lenses, and 1 month lenses, but not dailies.
I have also tried a brand called SilkLens. But, I prefer Bausch over SilkLens. And, now let me try Focus Dailies and see.

Welcoming Brainstorming Ideas

Thursday, January 15, 2009 Edit This

The New Year has passed, but then as long as it is January, the Year is still NEW. So to enjoy this spirit, a dear friend of mine is planning to conduct a kids fashion show for an upcoming Christmas-New Year celebration in the neighborhood. It sounds good and moreover there is nothing better than seeing some of the tiny tots fire up the ramp :)

But there seems to be some problem; it seems my pal is short of ideas and to make this problem a bit more twisted, she pops up to me to help her. Well, all I could do is spread the word thru my blog and hope my readers to give some clue. Here is the list of what my friend and I have done to date. All are welcome to add or modify our ideas :)

1. MUSIC
The music must make the audience jump from their seats..... I guess techno with lots of beats will do.... Any particular music on ur mind, anyone?!?? How about Crazy Frog? :D

2. LIGHTS
My buddy said the lighting team has been found for the show. I guess she is a very "Enlightened soul".

3. SMOKE
Ready too! She also have some party-poppers and stuffs kept ready.

4. STAGE
Ready!

5. MODELS
Lots of cute kids, ever-ready!

6. COSTUME
Ideas required!

7. THEME
Ideas required!
I suggested "SEASONS" - depicting Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter :D

8. CATWALK n POSE
Ideas required!

All bloggers and blogerettes are welcome to share your ideas.

Anyone, any ideas???!? I know you people out there are very smart and creative. So buddies, come and spill the beans!
