I'm Back!

I had been away for 2 weeks to visit my granny. Flew from Kuwait to Kerala (India) via Dubai by Emirates. I just love flying Emirates - hats off to their punctual and superb services. Being a Skywards member, got a free upgrade to Business class. How cool is that! Although, I have flown in the B class before, the food used to be good, but this time it was awful except for the only two things I had - tuna salad and apple juice yummm!

Dubai airport - who doesn't love it!

If there is something green, I've always preferred Kerala - one of the beautiful states of India. Kerala, the land of coconuts, endowed with lush green scenic beauty, sun-kissed beaches, emarald backwaters, verdant hill stations, sprawling plantations of tea, coffee, spice, rubbers, etc. In what every part of the state you will travel, you will find heart grabbing greenery all around. My paddy fields

The blues of the sky, the blue waters of the beach and lush green surrounding with enchanting birds provide an ambiance like no other.Granny's favourite flower... God knows its name!
My dinner... hehehe

It's the monsoon season and the word itself makes one happy. The intoxicating smell of dry Earth getting drenched, the splashing waters and the tiny paper boats sailing on the clogged water is indeed an inexpensive and memorable treat to anyone. The farmers rejoice in the showers that promise to bring them prosperity. The monsoon makes the peacock dance with joy and the mango flowers bloom. I did have a variety of mangoes and it was simply delicious!
