Help! I Need A New Blog Name!

I googled up www.elegantchic.com and voila! There exists a website by that name. Sucks!!!
One of the most frustrating things about creating your startup is the naming process!!!
I need a new name for my blog. Something short (URL must be available). Any ideas?
And, a new blogging platform too. Obviously, I currently use Blogger. But, will simply switching to my own domain (still using Blogger) really help my traffic/rankings? Is there a better platform (WordPress, TypePad, etc)? Or, should I skip these platforms altogether and build my own blog?
If you can come up with a new name or give me some pros and cons about blogging platform changes, I'll give you some great recognition (i.e. link, etc) through this blog. :)

Go for a domain or stay here? I need to change the template... too lazy to edit even though now I have plenty of leisure time ;p
