Today will be an unstable day with chances of thunderstorms, now the last storm was hard to predict and no one was prepared, and i dont want that situation to reoccur. The chance is high HOWEVER it is a "hit or miss" situation where some areas could be hit badly and other areas will completely miss it. Just out of precaution, DO NOT even think of going off shore, and if you see the black cloud approaching (its pretty obvious) then take immediate shelter and make sure that there is no glass above you. Keep checking this page every 2 hours for updates.

Im having fever and cold since 2 days. Its horrible and Im on medication. Guess its because of the climate change. Wishing myself a "Get Well Soon"...

Unexpected Hurricane Kuwaitina

Yesterday our regular visitor Mr.Sandstorm visited Kuwait. This time he had a surprise for all of us. He bought along with him Mr.Thunder Showers.It lasted for almost 15-20 minutes. The unexpected storm uprooted trees, damaged minor structures in different parts of Kuwait and flooded the Gulf Road.

My family and I were in our car stuck up in traffic. Suddenly, there was cool breeze followed by sandstorm which shook our car. We could see many things flying around. It was really scary. In Salmiya and Jabriya, we saw most of the parking shades collapsed and cars beneath it got destroyed.

On our way back home, we stopped over at Amman Restaurant (famous for its bhelpuris, paani puris, sev puris, etc...) and bought bhelpuri.



Nothing could have been more delicious on a rainy day.

A friend of mine gifted me with this delicious chocolate cake from Sablé. Thought of taking some snaps of the cake before I attack it. And the cake is ultra-delicious as viewed in the picture. Yum-O!

Im glad that the weekend is here. The days passed by with a wink of an eye. I hope the climate will be calm during this weekend since Mr.Sandstorm is a regular visitor nowadays during weekends forcing all to sit at home.

A warm hello to the blogging world! Im just getting used to the stuffs here and I guess its just a matter of time. I have been reading a couple of blogs daily which inspired me to start my own. Some of the blogs I read daily are : Kuwait-Style, Confashions, 248AM, Swair, Chikapappi, and the list goes on... Later on, I will be listing my favourite blogs on this page. Its five minutes past 1 in the afternoon and Im hungry. I better go and have my lunch before my stomach starts grumbling. ;-)
